Gold Coast Tour & Travel, Inc. has been specializing in educational tours of St. Augustine, Florida, since 1994.

Every itinerary Gold Coast develops is created by hand, customized to meet the unique needs and interests of each group, and given the type of personalized service and attention schools have come to expect from Gold Coast.

From the moment of contact, Gold Coast's friendly and knowledgeable staff communicate with educators and coordinators to answer any questions they may have. We work hard to make certain every part of the tour meets with students' and educators' expectations.

In addition to our skill and knowledge in planning fun, worry-free educational tours, Gold Coast continues to search out value-added programs that will enrich students' experience of beautiful and historical St. Augustine.

Within each itinerary package we provide, educators and coordinators can expect to find useful information - including attraction brochures and other materials related to their tour - intended to make their visit to St. Augustine as comprehensive and worry-free as possible.

Two weeks prior to a scheduled tour, Gold Coast Tour & Travel, Inc. mails an additional package called a "Fun Pack." Each Fun Pack is filled with educational materials specifically designed to coordinate with a group's unique itinerary. With a focus on art, history, science, and language, these materials are intended to expand the student's experience of the St. Augustine sites and attractions he or she will visit, and to bring the experience of the tour back into the classroom environment.

Many of the materials included in Gold Coast's Fun Packs have been developed and provided by our local attractions. For example, The St. Augustine Alligator Farm has provided "Fun Alligator Facts" and a "Scavenger Hunt" specifically designed for those students who will be visiting the St. Augustine Alligator Farm as part of their Gold Coast tour. Artist Theodore Morris has included some of his beautiful artwork (Florida's Lost Tribes) for coloring activities and as a complement to his presentation on Florida's Native Americans.

But most importantly, we understand the amount of planning and budgeting that goes into a school's educational tours each year, and we strive to make certain that a school's destination choice of St. Augustine, Florida, is well placed and worthwhile.
